Milestones, policy contributions, and deep-tech recognition as we scale the future of non-animal disease modeling.
Two heads of state. One Indian founder. One conversation about the future of drug discovery.
Two heads of state. One Indian founder. One conversation about the future of drug discovery. This week, Dr. Kanika Singroha stood in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron and explained why human diseases deserve human models — and why India is positioned to lead that shift. Out of 80+ startups under DPIIT's Startup India showcase, Cellverse was among just five selected for a direct audience with both leaders. The conversation wasn't a pitch. It was a serious discussion about where biology, AI, and precision medicine are heading — and what role Indian innovation can play in getting there.
pressWe are thrilled to announce that Cellverse participated in VivaTech Paris 2026 — Europe’s largest startup and technology event — representing India's emerging deep-tech and life sciences frontier on the global stage. Handpicked by DPIIT and Startup India from over 80+ top Indian startups, Cellverse was showcased at the prestigious India Pavilion (Pavilion 7 | Booth 1F39-015). Our Founder & CEO Director, Dr. Kanika Singroha, had the distinct honor of presenting Cellverse's breakthrough AI-driven Digital-Twin-Based In-Vitro Disease Models to Hon. Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, and H.E. Jawed Ashraf, Ambassador of India to France. No script could have prepared us for the incredible response from global innovators, investors, and biotech leaders. But years of relentless, deep-tech research at the intersection of AI, pathology, and biofabrication did. At Cellverse, we are rebooting the standard of pre-clinical research by creating predictive biological Digital Twins capable of simulating disease states both in silico and inside precision-bioprinted tissues. This allows therapeutic candidates to be tested and optimized with high physiological accuracy before entering clinical trials, helping deliver safer, faster, and animal-free healthcare solutions. Standing before world leaders at Paris to present our vision marks a proud milestone in our journey. It is a powerful validation of the deep technology being built in India, taking regional innovation from Rajasthan to the global arena. We extend our sincere thanks to the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Startup India, MeitY Startup Hub, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), iStart Rajasthan, and our mentors for making this showcase possible. The world is listening, and we are ready to forge partnerships that align with building technology that truly matters. JAI HIND!
pressIt was a true privilege for Cellverse to be selected among the exclusive cohort of 35+ DeepTech and semiconductor startups interacting directly with the Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, at a pivotal roundtable hosted by TiE Bengaluru. As an early stage deep medtech startup developing digital twins of human diseases for non-animal disease models, the experience of having the Minister himself lend his ears to deeptech startups exclusively for 3 hours affirms the belief that this is truly the Amrit Kaal for deeptech businesses in India. 🚀 The Minister affirmed that, in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's vision for a Viksit Bharat @2047, the government is actively working to cultivate a future-ready, innovation-led economy.
